Abstract

To address new energy vehicles (NEVs) promotion bottlenecks in Chongqing’ s hilly regions and support “dual carbon” goals and rural revitalization, research shows Chongqing had 706,500 NEVs by the end of 2024 with leading charging infrastructure. Challenges: uneven charging station distribution, inefficient maintenance, insufficient government-enterprise collaboration. Countermeasures: govt-enterprise-community mechanism, optimized “30-minute charging circle”, digital maintenance & value-added services.Expected effects: fill rural charging gaps, improve user satisfaction, and provide references for similar areas.
