Against the backdrop of increasingly fierce global competition in technological innovation, patents, as a
key carrier of a company's core competitiveness, urgently need to shift their layout strategy from quantity oriented
to emphasizing both quality and strategy. This article systematically explores five typical models of enterprise patent
layout and deeply analyzes the three optimization paths of patent layout: firstly, using patent map tools to identify
“blank areas” and “dense areas”, accurately grasping layout opportunities and risks; The second is to implement a
phased layout plan, locking in technical concepts in the early stage of research and development, supplementing and
improving patents in the middle stage, and fully covering product structure and functions in the commercialization
stage to achieve full cycle protection; The third is to build a combination of multiple types of patents, forming a three
dimensional protection system that integrates technology, structure, and vision.
