Abstract

This paper explores the factors affecting carbon inclusive literacy among residents in Hebei Province via a questionnaire survey. A multiple linear regression model was used for analysis. Key findings include a significant negative influence for the 18-30 age group, suggesting lower literacy among young adults; a stronger positive influence for rural residents; and a significant negative impact associated with having a high school education or less, which calls for practical educational measures. To address problems like limited awareness, the intention-behavior gap in low-carbon practices, and weak motivation, the study proposes countermeasures such as differentiated publicity and behavioral incentives, offering insights for improving carbon inclusive literacy in Hebei.
