High tech enterprises in the pharmaceutical and health industry in Jilin Province play a key role in promoting regional economic growth and ensuring people’s health. This article is based on data from the Torch Statistics Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It uses data from the high-tech f ields supported by the state, including biology and new medicine (excluding agricultural biotechnology, light industry, and chemical biotechnology) and new materials (biomedical materials), to analyze the current situation of the scale distribution, economic contribution, innovation investment, and innovation achievements of high-tech enterprises in the pharmaceutical and health industry in Jilin Province from 2021 to 2023, and proposes corresponding suggestions.
