Compared to its application in judicial practice, the introduction of the technical investigator system into administrative protection of patent infringement disputes has been relatively late. Considering the existing controversies surrounding the administrative protection mechanism for patent infringement, this paper discusses the underlying rationale for incorporating the technical investigator system into administrative protection of patent infringement disputes, focusing on enhancing professionalism, strengthening efficiency advantages. Based on the current operational status of this system within administrative patent infringement protection, specific recommendations are proposed from the perspectives of procedural standardization and transparency, case-specific applicability, and collaborative exchanges, with the aim of enabling the technical investigator system fully leverage its potential in the administrative protection of patent infringement disputes.
