The Nianligou mining area in Inner Mongolia features a complex geological structure, with long-term coal
extraction causing significant ground subsidence and deformation, impacting safety and ecosystems. This study employed
Small Baseline Subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR) technology to analyze ground deformation using 54 Sentinel-1A images from
January 21, 2021, to April 6, 2025. Results revealed the spatial and temporal patterns of subsidence over the past five years,
indicating overall stability but notable ongoing subsidence in certain areas, primarily linked to coal mining. The findings
provide valuable insights for monitoring ground subsidence and guiding future resource extraction and ecological restoration.
